Surah Al-'Alaq — Ayah 15 (96:15)
كـَلَّا لَئِن لَّمۡ يَنتَهِ لَنَسۡفَعَۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ ١٥
English translation (Saheeh International)
No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock1 –
- - It may also mean "slap him" or "blacken his face at the forelock."
Brief commentary
It is not as this ignorant person imagines; if he does not stop causing harm to My servant and rejecting him, I will definitely seize him and drag him violently by the top of his head, towards the hellfire.
