Surah Al-Anbya — Ayah 26 (21:26)

English translation (Saheeh International)

And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they¹ are [but] honored servants.

1. - Those they claim to be "children" of Allāh, such as the angels, Ezra, Jesus, etc.

Brief commentary

The idolaters said: “Allah has taken the angels as daughters”. Pure and exalted is Allah from the lie they say. The angels are in fact the servants of Allah, honoured by Him and close to Him.
