Surah Al-Balad — Ayah 3 (90:3)

English translation (Saheeh International)

And [by] the father¹ and that which was born [of him],

1. - Said to be Adam (upon him be peace) .

Brief commentary

And Allah takes an oath on the father of humanity, also taking an oath on the offspring reproduced from him.
