Surah Al-Furqan — Ayah 38 (25:38)

English translation (Saheeh International)

And [We destroyed] ʿAad and Thamūd and the companions of the well¹ and many generations between them.

1. - Said to be a people who denied Prophet Shuʿayb or possibly those mentioned in Sūrah Yā Seen, 36:13-29.

Brief commentary

I also destroyed the Ad, the people of Hud, and the Thamud, the people of Salih. I destroyed the people of the Well and I destroyed many communities between these three.
