Surah Al-Furqan — Ayah 46 (25:46)

English translation (Saheeh International)

Then We [retract and] hold it with Us for a brief grasp.¹

1. - i.e., when the sun is overhead at noon.

Brief commentary

Then I retracted the shade by reducing it gradually little by little in accordance to the height of the sun.
