Surah Al-Hijr — Ayah 15 (15:15)
لَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُنَا بَلۡ نَحۡنُ قَوۡمٞ مَّسۡحُورُونَ ١٥
English translation (Saheeh International)
They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic."
Brief commentary
They would not believe, and they said: Our eyes could no longer see, and what we saw was the effects of magic, so we are bewitched.
