Surah Al-Kahf — Ayah 101 (18:101)

English translation (Saheeh International)

Those whose eyes had been within a cover [removed] from My remembrance,¹ and they were not able to hear.²

1. i.e., Allāh's signs or the Qur’ān.
2. They refused to listen to the Qur’ān or to understand it.

Brief commentary

I shall present it to the disbelievers who were blind to the remembrance of Allah in the world, due to the veil which barred them from it, and they were unable to listen to and accept the verses of Allah.
