Surah Al-Mu'minun — Ayah 60 (23:60)

English translation (Saheeh International)

And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful¹ because they will be returning to their Lord -

1. - Lest their deeds not be acceptable.

Brief commentary

Those who strive in doing righteous deeds and draw closer to Allah through them, whilst fearing that He may not accept their spending in His path, or good deeds when they return to Him on the Day of Judgment.
