Surah An-Nazi'at — Ayah 20 (79:20)

English translation (Saheeh International)

And he showed him the greatest sign,¹

1. - i.e., the miracle of his staff becoming a great snake.

Brief commentary

Moses (peace be upon him) then showed him the great miracle that proved he was a Messenger from his Lord, i.e. the Hand and the Staff.
