Surah Hud — Ayah 80 (11:80)
قَالَ لَوۡ أَنَّ لِي بِكُمۡ قُوَّةً أَوۡ ءَاوِيٓ إِلَىٰ رُكۡنٖ شَدِيدٖ ٨٠
English translation (Saheeh International)
He said, "If only I had against you some power or could take refuge in a strong support."
Brief commentary
Lot said that if only he had strength to use against them or people to support him, then he would be able to come between them and his guests.
