Surah Maryam — Ayah 87 (19:87)

English translation (Saheeh International)

None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant.¹

1. - Not to worship other than Him.

Brief commentary

These disbelievers will not have the power to intercede for one another, except for those who had taken a pledge with Allah in the world by having faith in Him and in His messengers.
