Surah Saba — Ayah 49 (34:49)

English translation (Saheeh International)

Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]."¹

1. - This expression alludes to complete inability, meaning that falsehood was abolished.

Brief commentary

O Messenger! Say to these idolaters who reject: “The truth which is Islam has come, and falsehood which has no effect or supremacy has gone, and it will not return to its dominance”.
