Surah Taha — Ayah 58 (20:58)

English translation (Saheeh International)

Then we will surely bring you magic like it, so make between us and you an appointment, which we will not fail to keep and neither will you, in a place assigned."¹

1. - Literally, "marked," as to be known. Another meaning is "a place midway [between us]" or "a level place."

Brief commentary

We will certainly bring to, O Moses, magic similar to yours, so make an appointment between you and us at a specified time and place, which neither of us will fail to keep, and let the place be a central and even place to both groups.
