Surah Al-Hijr — Ayah 23 (15:23)

English translation (Saheeh International)

And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor.¹

1. - Allāh (subḥānahu wa taʿālā) remains after all creation has passed away.

Brief commentary

I revive the dead by creating them out of nothing and resurrecting them after death. And I cause the living to die when their time comes. I am the One Who will remain and inherit the earth and whatever is upon it.
