Surah As-Saffat — Ayah 103 (37:103)

English translation (Saheeh International)

And when they had both submitted¹ and he put him down upon his forehead,

1. - To the command of Allāh.

Brief commentary

So when they submitted to Allah and obeyed him, Abraham laid his son down on his forehead, to carry out the order given to him to slaughter his son.
