Surah As-Saffat — Ayah 144 (37:144)

English translation (Saheeh International)

He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected.¹

1. - Meaning that the belly of the fish would have become his grave.

Brief commentary

he would have remained in the stomach of the whale until the Day of Judgement, with it having become his grave.
