Surah As-Saffat — Ayah 57 (37:57)
وَلَوۡلَا نِعۡمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ ٥٧
English translation (Saheeh International)
If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell].
Brief commentary
“Had it not been for Allah blessing me with guidance to faith and the ability to accept it, I would have been one of those brought to the punishment like you.”
