Surah As-Saffat — Ayah 98 (37:98)
فَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدٗا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَ ٩٨
English translation (Saheeh International)
And they intended for him a plan [i.e., harm], but We made them the most debased.
Brief commentary
So the people of Abraham intended to do evil to Abraham by destroying him so they could be saved from him, but I made them the losers when I made the fire cool and safe for him.
